The “Piano Doctor”
Billy Alcordo is a 3rd generation piano tuner and also a piano technician. He is also the man behind Pro Piano Tuner. A well-respected piano tuning and repair service in Thailand.
Back in the Philippines, in the city of Davao, the Alcordo family owned and operated a piano re-building business. His grandfather, Rogaciano Alcordo Sr. worked at Robinson’s Piano factory in Manila, after the Second World War. It was where he learned the piano servicing trade. After he gained all the knowledge he needed to open a shop of his own, he then migrated to Davao City where he founded and operated the family business, Alcordo & Sons. He taught his sons, including Aristedes Alcordo, all his knowledge about the piano servicing business. Aristedes Alcordo was the father of Billy Alcordo.
Billy Alcordo learned the trade by helping out in their shop every school break while he was still in high school. Through the mentorship and guidance of his father and grandfather, Billy certainly gained knowledge on how to tune and repair pianos.
Billy Alcordo founded Pro Piano Tuner back in 2015. And have been operating the piano service in Bangkok ever since. The only piano tuner in Thailand that uses the traditional method of tuning pianos without the assistance of a digital tuning device.
